We have had a busy week preparing for our first student led conferences, reading, writing, arithmetic and more!! Tomorrow is sure to be a fun filled event, the schedule is below.
Science: We have been busy continuing learning all about the weather, and focusing on the barometric pressure, humidity, and wind speed!
Writing: The students are looking at their research with the lens of a historian, focusing on the geography of their tribe, putting in their own thoughts about their research, and being aware of other events that were taking place around the world as their Native American tribe flourished.
Reading: We are looking at nonfiction text and how they increase with complexity. We are learning new strategies to help us understand tricky words.
Math: We are dividing greater numbers. The test will be next Thursday, November 5th. A study guide will be coming home tomorrow.
Social Studies: They are wrapping up their google slide presentations on their tribe. I am looking forward tomorrow, as they will present their dwelling project as well as their Google slide presentation.
