This week in room 34...

This week we are taking this quote and putting it into practice. We are preparing for MAP with our "MAP Intense Week". Each day students will travel to the other 5th grade classrooms to review reading, writing, math, and science topics. They are LOVING this taste of moving from teacher to teacher, a taste of Middle School. If for any reason your child will not be in attendance during MAP testing, please let me know.  Please email or send me you MAP letter of encouragement.

Ask your student what our new 4th quarter ALEKS goal is!

Continue to show students that reading is FUN! With all our test-prep, we are continuing to remind ourselves that reading is enjoyable especially when you have a good book to read just for fun! Students should be reading a good-fit book at home for 20 minutes each night as a way to relax and unwind!
